Ivar Jacobson Consulting Acquires the Unified Process Group
Ivar Jacobson Consulting (IJC) is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the Unified Process Group (UPG). Our corporate mission as defined by IJC founder, Dr. Ivar Jacobson, one of the pioneers in software development process, has been to help organizations build better software and systems through process improvement. UPG and their management team share this vision and the acquisition will continue to build upon both companies’ success in providing the best support for both sets of customers.

Lead by our Managing Director, David West, the mission of IJC Americas is to bring the best people in the industry to work with customers in solving their development needs. The process content is accessed in our Essential Unified Process section. In terms of tool experience IJC has experience with many market leading development tools and has particular strong partnerships with both IBM and Microsoft helping customers adopt their tooling. The implementation know how is provided by a group of experienced software development professionals who have rolled out process throughout their careers, and can provide practical experience.
