Service-oriented architecture SOA is definitely a step to the future - and it has always been. The trick is to get there. There are many risks and all have to be eliminated. The most effective way to succeed is to identify your risks early and eliminate them in steps, the most significant first. After every step you demonstrate with executable code – not with papers - that the risks you have addressed have been eliminated.
