Fujitsu has effectively reformed and harmonised its development project management operations by combining Microsoft’s Visual Studio Team System management tool with Ivar Jacobson International’s EssUP (Essential Unified Process) application development process. The tools facilitate internal communication within the project team, for example by using a plain language format to enable team members to monitor project progress even in the absence of the relevant project expert.
