Lean and Agile Delivery

IJI helped the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations to introduce use case driven, lean and agile development to support a major systems modernization program. The new approach enabled improved decision making and program control, and high visibility of the performance of the development teams. Requirements accuracy was improved whilst minimizing documentation overheads. Project teams achieved self-sufficiency in the new way of working within six months.

IJI also works with the Dutch Ministry of Defence to help streamline and standardise their ways of working using IJI’s Essential Practices.

“We are a government ICT project and therefore we are audited frequently. We need to have everything verified to ensure we’re doing the right thing. It’s imperative that we work with credible and proven vendors –IJI definitely had a strong pedigree in this area.”

“We were looking for an optimal way of working as a team. IJI was the facilitator in our discussions, they helped us to identify issues and ask questions about what and why we were doing things. The team now understands this and has embraced this way of working.”
