Ian Spence - Principal Consultant and SAFe Fellow

Ian specializes in large-scale agile adoptions and practice-based organizational change. An experienced agile coach he has worked with hundreds of projects to introduce iterative and agile practices, working with development teams ranging from 5 – 150 people. He has also led numerous successful, large-scale transformation projects in fields as diverse as government, telecommunications, finance, and internet start-ups, working with development organization of 5 – 5,000 people. Ian is a certified SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT) and his vast experience leading large-scale agile transformations provides him with vast experience coaching, training and consulting on the Scaled Agile Framework. His current interests are agile for large projects, agile out-sourcing, and driving sustainable change with agile measurements. He is also the co-author of two influential software development books, "Use Case Modeling" and "Managing Iterative Software Development Projects", and the team lead for the development of the SEMAT kernel.

Brian Tucker SAFe Fellow - Ivar Jacobson International

Brian was one of the first trainers outside of the Scaled Agile Academy to qualify as a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT) having worked with the framework since its initial inception ten years ago. Brian regularly delivers the SAFe Program Consultant training and has delivered it over a hundred times in the last 8 years; more than anyone else in the world. Brian has been involved in SAFe implementations at numerous companies across Europe including hybris, PZU, Ford, Nordea, NHS Blood + Transplants, Etihad Airlines, Sony Playstation and LV Insurance. Brian is a highly proficient Agile and Scrum coach and trainer with extensive management experience in both corporate and small company situations, backed up with 11 years of software development experience.

Keith de Mendonca SPCT - Ivar Jacobson International

Keith de Mendonca joined Ivar Jacobson International in 2015. Keith is a proven leader and software architect with eighteen years of industry experience working in technical roles and holding positions as a software engineer, line manager, chief architect, coach, and VP. Prior to IJI, Keith worked and lived in the UK, Asia and India for companies such as Nokia, Accenture and Symbian primarily focused on writing, designing and delivering embedded software for ‘smartphone’ mobile phone operating systems, and apps. He has a proven track record of designing software, recruiting and managing technical staff, building technical competencies, coaching agile practices, and embracing cultural diversity in onshore & offshore software development centers. Keith has extensive experience with the Scaled Agile Framework working on a global adoption at Nokia with 2000 staff spread across the globe.

Richard Cook - SPC Ivar Jacobson International

Richard is a certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) and Scrum at Scale Practitioner, with over 25 years of experience leading software development and delivery organisations across multiple industry sectors. Coming from a hands-on development and architecture background, Richard held the position of Director of Development for a leading academic publishing company before joining IJI. He is particularly creative in experimenting with new practices to drive organisational effectiveness and has been leading agile adoption in large and complex businesses for more than half of his career.

Lars Broden is a Principal Consultant with Ivar Jacobson International with extensive experience gained over 25 years, previously Rational Software’s European Director of Strategic Services. Excellent communications and leadership skills with genuine, practical experience of making software development processes work. Lars demonstrates essential skills in bridging the gap between Senior Management and the IT Organisations. Lars is a certified SAFe Program Consultant with recent experience of successfully leading a large-scale agile transformation in Scandinavia at Visma Corporation and most recently at SimCorp, Skandia and Länsforsakringar.
