The Essential Role of Leadership

Successfully Adopting SAF& Mastering Organisational Change

Thursday, March 10, 2016
Canary Wharf
8:00 am – 9:30 am
What’s New in SAFe 4.0 commences at 10:00 am

Join us with special guests Dean Leffingwell, Co-founder, Chief Methodologist of the Scaled Agile Framework and John Plumpton, VP & Senior Program Manager in Finance Risk and P&L at Deutsche Bank as they discuss the important role senior executives play as Change Leaders driving the success of an agile transformation programme.

Agile adoption is very reliant on the technical competence of the teams and how they work together, however the support of an engaged, lead by example executive team is critical. Discussions will include:

  • What are the key principles for successful change?
  • How should executives prepare?
  • What should an executive leadership team look like?
  • What resources and budget will be required?
  • How do you integrate software development with business change, business process re-engineering and all the other initiatives?
  • How do you measure success?

The session will kick-off with a presentation by Dean Leffingwell reviewing success stories, lessons learned and recommendations for a successful agile transformation followed by John Plumpton who will review Deutsche Bank’s agile journey with SAFe. A significant amount of time will be reserved for a round table Q&A session.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in stimulating discussion with recognized authorities on lean-agile development and hear first-hand about a successful SAFe roll-out at Deustche Bank as well as networking with fellow senior executives.

This event has very limited capacity and is for senior level executives.
